Privacy at Peace Racket

No cookies. No pixels. No JavaScript trackers. Visitor privacy honored in practice, not just in policy — a small act of the kind the argument names as the substrate of everything else.

What Peace Racket Does Not Use

  • No cookies are set when you visit peaceracket.com. Not first-party, not third-party, not session, not persistent.
  • No tracking pixels load in the background. No 1×1 GIFs, no Facebook Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag, no equivalents.
  • No JavaScript trackers run in your browser. No Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Segment, no Hotjar, no equivalents.
  • No advertising code of any kind. Peace Racket carries no ads and no ad-network infrastructure.
  • No fingerprinting techniques of any kind.

What Peace Racket Does Use

  • Cloudflare's server-side edge analytics. Cloudflare's servers log request counts, top pages, geographic distribution, and cache performance from their own server-side records — nothing runs in your browser. No individual visitor is identified. The Peace Racket editorial desk sees anonymous aggregate traffic patterns, not personal information about specific readers.
  • Google Fonts. The site loads its typography (Playfair Display, Lora, Space Grotesk) from Google's font-hosting CDN. Google may log the font-file request as a normal HTTP transaction. The Peace Racket editorial desk does not receive or process this data.

When You Click Out

Peace Racket links out to Substack (the newsletter), YouTube (the channel), Amazon (the books), and Etsy (the merch shop). When you click any of those links, you leave peaceracket.com. Each of those platforms has its own privacy practices, none of which we control or benefit from. Please review their policies if you want to know how they handle your data.

Why This Matters

Peace Racket's argument is that peace is a working condition requiring the deliberate maintenance of institutions, vocabulary, and civic capacity. Respect for the reader's privacy is treated as part of that maintenance.

The modern web has normalized surveillance of readers by publishers, funded by advertisers, mediated by data brokers. Every cookie set, every pixel loaded, every tracker running is a small act in a direction Peace Racket declines to move. This site's zero-tracking commitment is a small act in the other direction. Small acts compound.

That is the whole policy. There is nothing more.
